Lightly toned, boldly struck and with a particularly attractive portrait. Slightly porous, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.


The closest stylistic parallels for this beautiful coin are Gollnow & Rutten 1138-1139, from the 'G P R Group II' (note the similar rendering of the forehead, nose, and neck), rendering it very likely that it was also struck by the Rhine Legions.
